Flooring Installation & Custom Trim in Moncton, NB
Flooring that feels right underfoot. Crown molding that draws the eye up. The finishing details that separate good construction from exceptional craftsmanship.

Walk into a room and you feel quality before you can name it. It is usually the floors and the trim — the finishing details most builders rush and most homeowners notice for years afterward. From luxury vinyl plank to tile, laminate, and custom millwork, Valhalla Construction installs flooring and trim across Moncton, Dieppe, and Riverview with the kind of precision that turns a decent renovation into one you are genuinely proud of.
On the floor: luxury vinyl plank, porcelain and ceramic tile, and laminate — set over properly prepped, level subfloors so nothing squeaks, lifts, or telegraphs down the road. We also have experience with solid and engineered hardwood for the right project. Overhead and around the room: crown molding, baseboards, window and door casings, wainscoting, and feature walls that give a space its character. Tight miters, consistent reveals, and clean transitions from room to room — the small measurements that add up to a home that feels cohesive and intentional, not pieced together.
What You Get:
- Luxury vinyl plank, tile, and laminate
- Crown molding, baseboards, casings, and wainscoting
- Level subfloor prep for floors that last

What This Covers
Flooring and trim work ranges from a single room to a full main-level renovation, and the scope depends on the material and how much of the house is involved. Every flooring job starts with the subfloor: leveling, deflection checks, and proper prep, since that decides whether the finished floor stays flat and quiet or develops squeaks and gaps within a year or two.
From there: tile for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements, where waterproofing matters as much as the tile itself, or luxury vinyl plank for the rest of the house, chosen based on what the subfloor and the room actually need.
Trim work finishes it off. Baseboards reinstalled or replaced at minimum with any new flooring, and larger millwork like crown molding, window and door casings, and wainscoting added where the project calls for it. We scope trim separately from flooring when that's all a room needs. A house with good floors but dated trim doesn't need new flooring to get a real style upgrade.
In kitchens, bathrooms, and basements, that usually means tile flooring installation, decided almost entirely by the subfloor prep underneath it.
Everywhere else in the house, it is usually LVP or plank flooring, matched to what the room and the subfloor actually need.
