What This Covers

A siding project covers more than the visible panels. Most of the actual work, and most of what decides how the house performs afterward, happens underneath. A full re-side starts with tearing off the old siding, then addressing what's underneath: house wrap installed or replaced, continuous rigid foam insulation added where it makes sense, and every seam taped so the building envelope is properly sealed.

From there, new siding goes on, with soffit, fascia, and trim detailed around windows, dormers, and porches to finish the exterior completely rather than just the flat wall sections. Stone veneer gets added as an accent on top of that (a porch base, a feature wall, a chimney surround), cut and fitted on site rather than installed as large flat panels.

Sometimes a siding job uncovers a problem that has nothing to do with the siding itself, like moisture or insect damage in the framing underneath. When that happens, we stop, show you what we found, and price the repair before continuing.
